Here are some of the general rules that are to be kept in mind for the competition

PARTICIPATION

• Competition is free and open for all age groups

• Only single article is allowed from each participant

• In a case of multiple articles by a single participant, the article sent first will be considered for the competition

TOPIC SELECTION

Participants can select any of the article wide topics mentioned below:

1. Aviation Trivia or Concept

Explain about any aviation trivia or concept in the simplest way possible. The article will be judged by the uniqueness of the topic Selection, and way of writing (simplicity).

Come up with the exciting title for your article. Remember your article title is the first impression of your article on the judges.

2.Possible Future of Aviation on Mars

Showcase your creativity and imagination skills and write about possible future of Aviation on planet Mars. The article will be judged by the feasibility of the concept and the way of writing (simplicity).

ARTICLE WRITING GUIDELINES

• Come up with the exciting title for your article. Remember your article title is the first impression of your article on the judges.
• Article should be of minimum 500 words.
• The article should not exceed 1500 words.
• No plagiarism allowed. Article with plagiarized content more than 10% will be disqualified.
• Use of creative common images in the article is allowed. Images should not be subjected to copyright. Link from where the image is downloaded should be given below every image.

How to download creative common Images?

1. Go to Google advanced image search

2. Enter your search keywords

3. Change the usage right option at the end to 'free to use, share or modify, even commercially'

4. Click on Advanced search

• Mention Participants name, E-mail ID at the end of the article. Insert Passport size photo at the end of the article. This photo could be used while announcing the results and to credit the Author.
• Name the article file as the title of your article and save it as PDF

e.g. If Article title is 'Supersonic Aircraft on Mars' then name of the PDF file should be 'Supersonic Aircraft on Mars.pdf'

SUBMISSION OF THE ARTICLE

• Submission form link will be available on our website from 30th March to 30th April.
• Use article submission form to submit the article. Make sure article is in PDF format.
• Participants should insert high-resolution Passport size (35mm x 45mm) photo and Email ID at the end of the article. Passport size photo will be used at the time of publication of results and to credit the author.
• Enter valid details in the submission form. These details will be used to contact participants in a case of qualification for the prizes.

ISSUE OF CERTIFICATES

Top 50 participants will be awarded the e-certificate. E-certificate can be verified from the 'Participant's Unique Identification Number' (PUIN). Participants can visit Aircraft Nerds PUID page on the official website to validate their certificate.

RESULTS

Results for the competition will be announced 10-15 days past cometition with a live stream on our Social media. Updates about the date will be posted on our social media.
